Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava designed the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge which is the first of three proposed Calatrava bridges to be constructed across the Trinity River Corridor. The bridge links West Dallas and North Oak Cliff with downtown Dallas.
In April of 2010 the Dallas City Council awarded Santiago Calatrava $10.7 million to redesign portions of his second “signature” bridge crossing the Trinity River.
The future of the third bridge is unknown at this time.
